My name is Shavon. I'm 31 and started dabbling in photography at the end of last year (2023), and let me tell you - it's become my happy place. There's something so peaceful about being in these gorgeous, scenic spots with my camera capturing moments that are filled with love, joy, and life. Knowing that I get to help people freeze those memories in time? That's a dream career I'm chasing with everything I've got!
A little about me - I live in the Sacramento area with my amazing blended family (hubs, 2 kiddos, and our 2 fur babies). If we're being real, I'm somewhere between an introvert and an extrovert. We've got a bit of social anxiety over here but I'm working on it.
My name "amorsui" means "self-love" because that's the journey I'm on - loving myself exactly as I am, and I want the same for YOU too!
I fully believe that the environment photos are being taken in are as important as the skill level of the person behind the camera. I don’t mean the physical scenery (although that definitely helps). When I say environment, I mean the moment you are capturing. I would much rather take photos of a real (lightly guided) interaction between two people who love each other than direct people on how to look like they’re in love. Between your love and my continually increasing expertise, I think we can create magic….art….both!
